Cervical spinal stenosis

Cervical spinal stenosis is a condition in which the spaces, which are normally available for the spinal cord and the nerves, become narrowed. Spinal cord or nerve root compression may result and neck, shoulder, arm and hand symptoms may result. In severe cases major disability from myelopathy may result. Treatment options may be nonsurgical or surgical, depending on the degree of stenosis and severity of symptoms.
